Vacation and Business Trip Strategic Tips

Everyone loves the joy of traveling, but most people do not enjoy, nor have time, for the packing process.
However, these few clever tactics can make it quicker, easier, systematic, and less stressful.

1- Pick the right luggage “ buy one practical for your type of traveling. Try to select one with four good wheels. While hard covers are good for long airplane travels, soft covers are more versatile for awkward and restricted luggage space such as cars and trains. Rolling duffel bags have wheels and straps, which make them ideal for navigating trickier spaces such as stairs.
2- Plan your packing “ this is critical. Effective packing requires a bit of planning. The famous traveling blogger Monica Scott recommends to have a packing list. It will help you remember everything and to avoid overpack. I also suggest to plan your outfits with mix & match pieces that complement each other, and that can be used multiple times with different accessories to dress down or dress up the outfits. Avoid packing clothes that is too thick, or that requires ironing.

3- Smart Packing “ Pack in zipped cubes by separating all items in categories. It will minimize wrinkles, and it will facilitate finding things at the destinations. My cubes categories are: tops, bottoms, interior clothing, accessories, shoes ( I never take more than 2 pairs, plus the walking shoes I use for the trip), beach/pool, In my carry on, I have a cube with makeup/creams/perfume, a cube with hair-related items, one additional change of clothes, and I always take a large extra cube for the extra items I will bring back from my trip.
